Leading global electronics brand TCL has officially launched its 2025 West Africa Regional Showcase in Accra, Ghana, under the theme #BeyondWithTCL, spotlighting cutting-edge AI innovation, sustainable smart appliances, and strategic partnerships across the region.

Held at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel, the event brought together top TCL executives, government representatives, partners, tech enthusiasts, and special guest Thomas Partey, Ghanaian international footballer and TCL brand ambassador.

In his opening remarks, Nour Seklaoui, Managing Director of Electroland Ghana, emphasized Ghana’s pivotal role in TCL’s African growth.

“This evening is more than a product showcase—it is a celebration of partnership, progress, and possibility,” he said.

Sunny Yang, General Manager for TCL Middle East and Africa, highlighted the company’s aggressive push into AI technology—not only for televisions but also across home appliances like air conditioners, washing machines, and refrigerators.

“TCL is committed to AI that transforms everyday living across all product categories,” she shared.

Representing Ghana’s Ministry of Energy and Green Transition, Solomon Adjetey stressed the need for energy-efficient tech solutions to align with Ghana’s green agenda—underscoring TCL’s alignment with sustainability goals in Africa.

TCL’s Regional Sales Director, Daniel Ray, revealed impressive growth statistics, including 24.6% year-on-year growth in the Middle East and Africa, and TCL’s position as the world’s leading brand in ultra-large screen TVs and Mini LED technology.

A crowd-pleasing moment came with a surprise birthday celebration for Thomas Partey, who was presented with a TCL 98C6K QD-Mini LED TV. He mingled with guests, signed jerseys, and took a walk through the innovation exhibition floor.

Stan Wu, TCL Country Manager for Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire, spotlighted upcoming global campaigns, including TCL’s partnerships with the Olympic Games (2025–2032), Arsenal Football Club, and Call of Duty, aimed at connecting with Africa’s growing youth market.

Finally, Dennis Fixon, TCL Marketing Manager for Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire, showcased the brand’s latest AI-enabled smart home solutions, designed with energy efficiency and user convenience in mind.

With its 2025 launch in Accra, TCL reaffirmed its long-term commitment to AI innovation in Africa, smart home technology, and regional partnerships that power digital transformation.
