MultiChoice Ghana has announced a major promotion aimed at delivering greater value to its customers as the economy shows signs of recovery. The leading video entertainment provider is offering free upgrades to higher-tier packages for DStv and GOtv subscribers, alongside a significant price reduction for DStv decoders.
Running from June 16, 2025, to July 31, 2025, this initiative means that customers who pay for a specific package will automatically be upgraded to the next higher package at no extra cost. For example, subscribers who pay for the DStv Compact package (priced at Ghc380) will be upgraded to the Compact Plus package, typically valued at Ghc570, translating to a saving of Ghc190.
In addition, MultiChoice Ghana has slashed the price of its DStv decoder from Ghc169 to Ghc89, offering a saving of Ghc80. The move comes just ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup, making it easier for more Ghanaians to access premium sports and entertainment content.
