Accra, Ghana – MTN Ghana has signed a US$2 million sponsorship agreement with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to support four national football teams over the next two years.

The deal, which runs from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2027, will provide funding for the Black Stars, Black Queens, Black Satellites, and Black Starlets.

MTN Ghana CEO Stephen Blewett said the partnership reflects MTN’s commitment to supporting Ghanaian football and investing in the country’s sports talent. GFA President Kurt Okraku welcomed the sponsorship, describing it as a timely boost that will strengthen preparations and performance across all national teams.

This agreement makes MTN the headline sponsor for multiple national teams, expanding its long-standing relationship with Ghanaian football.
