Maryland, USA – Ghanaian music stars KiDi, Kojo Blak, Quamina MP, and AraTheJay are set to headline DMV Party In The Park 2025, taking place Saturday, July 19 at The Festival Lot, 800 Shoppers Way, Largo, MD 20774.
Organized by Star Buzz Media, this flagship summer event is now one of the largest African music festivals in the U.S., drawing thousands from the DMV area and across the country. The festival showcases Afrobeats, hiplife, highlife, and diaspora culture, creating a vibrant space for African creativity and connection.
“This isn’t just an event—it’s a movement that celebrates African excellence in music, culture, and identity,” said Charles Adu Koranteng, popularly known as Coaches, CEO of Star Buzz Media. “Our goal is to bring the diaspora together and spotlight the incredible talent emerging from Ghana and the continent at large.”

Fans can expect dynamic performances from KiDi’s Afropop catalogue, Quamina MP’s crowd-pleasing energy, Kojo Blak’s rising drill influence, and the standout vocals of AraTheay. The all-day experience also includes African food vendors, DJs, cultural showcases, and a strong sense of community pride.
This year’s edition is supported by Garage Ghana, DMV Heat, and the Government of Ghana, reflecting growing institutional and cultural backing for diaspora-led initiatives.
