Just when anticipation was reaching fever pitch for this year’s DMV Party in the Park, featuring stars like KiDi, Kojo Blak, and AratheJay, organizers have made a stunning announcement, the festival is officially postponed!

Originally slated for July 19, 2025 in Maryland, the event has been delayed due to unexpected holdups in securing critical work permits for some of the highly anticipated international performers.

“We understand the excitement and energy that surrounds the DMV Party In The Park each year, and this decision was not made lightly,” said Charles Adu Koranteng, CEO of StarBuzz Media, popularly known as Big Coaches. “We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment caused by this postponement.”

All tickets purchased will remain valid for the rescheduled date, and organizers have promised a “special treat” for all current ticket holders once the new date is confirmed.

But the big question remains: why the sudden delay? And could this be connected to recent changes in U.S. visa policies for African nationals?
