The Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) has launched the 14th edition of its annual Industry and Quality Awards, reaffirming its commitment to promoting excellence and competitiveness in Ghana’s industrial landscape. The event was held at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel in Accra under the theme “Accessing New Markets through Improved Quality Standards to Drive Business Growth and Job Creation.”

The launch brought together key industry players, policy influencers, and corporate sponsors. Chairperson of the Awards Planning Committee, Dr. Nora Abbott Bannerman, stressed the central role of quality standards in expanding market access, boosting productivity, and generating employment.

Delivering remarks on behalf of AGI President Dr. Humphrey Ayim-Darke, past AGI president Dr. Prince Kofi Kludjeson urged Ghanaian enterprises to adopt innovation and quality assurance as strategic tools for global relevance. He commended AGI for consistently highlighting industrial excellence over the years.

A highlight of the launch was the recognition of long-standing sponsors. Eleven companies, including GOIL, GCB Bank Plc, Ghana Gas Company, B5 Plus, Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Promasidor Ghana Ltd, and others, received certificates of appreciation for their dedicated partnership.

The 14th AGI Industry and Quality Awards is expected to take place later this year, celebrating businesses that exemplify high standards and industrial leadership across Ghana.
